Job Purpose
Reporting to the Project Director, the senior MEP Engineer is responsible for the efficient planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of assigned residential buildings and villa projects. The role ensures that all MEP works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality and compliance, in alignment with DarGlobal’s development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement MEP project scopes, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications in coordination with architectural and civil project components.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage and supervise MEP works on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and best practices.
- Conduct technical reviews of contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
- Conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
- Regularly communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Monitor project financials and make recommendations to adjust resources and timelines as needed.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure projects are compliant.
- Mentor and train team members to improve their project management skills.
- Responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of projects to meet time and cost objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP project management, with a focus on real estate residential building projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
