Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major renewable energy initiative connected to a leading renewable project happening in Austria, one of Europe’s flagship developments in sustainable power generation. This role offers the opportunity to drive complex, high-impact projects that contribute to the region’s transition toward clean energy. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful delivery across all phases, from development to commissioning, while collaborating with leading industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all project phases, including development, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Support contract negotiations and administration (EPC, BoP, and O&M agreements).
• Uphold HSE, quality, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular progress and risk reports to senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with grid operators, regulatory bodies, and permitting authorities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, grid connection processes, and permitting requirements.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certification (PMP, Prince2, or IPMA) is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German or another European language is an advantage.
• Availability for freelance/contract work with flexibility for occasional site visits.
