Logistics Operation Director

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transport Optimization: Design and optimize transport routes to reduce delays and improve efficiency, addressing challenges of Australia's vast geography.
2. Warehouse Management: Manage cold storage facilities, ensuring compliance with temperature and humidity standards.
3. Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory systems to minimize loss, reduce waste, and streamline stock control.
4. Data Analysis: Use data analytics to monitor performance, analyze customer demand, and forecast trends for informed decision-making.
5. Cost Management: Develop budgets and control operational costs to enhance cost-effectiveness.
6. Supply Chain Integration: Integrate upstream and downstream supply chains to ensure transparency and operational efficiency.
7. Technology Implementation: Drive innovation in cold chain technologies, including IoT and blockchain, to improve monitoring and tracking.
8. Emergency Response: Develop and execute emergency plans to handle unforeseen events and ensure business continuity.
9. Communication and Reporting: Regularly report to senior management on performance metrics and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements

1.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience and above in the logistics or cold chain industry, with a proven track record of managing large teams.
