THE POSITION


Join Boehringer Ingelheim as a Heathcare Project Manager / Network Manager and play a pivotal role in accelerating healthcare system partnerships that deliver real impact for patients, the NHS, and our organisation. This non-promotional role is all about driving collaboration, solving challenges, and ensuring projects are executed with excellence and aligned to long-term healthcare strategies.


Location: Field-based – covering Manchester, Rochdale, and Stockport

Contract Type: Fixed-term (18 months)

Travel Required: Yes – regular travel across the region


TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stakeholder Connectivity: Build strong relationships across practices, PCNs, neighbourhoods, and system leaders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Execution Excellence: Collaborate with healthcare system project teams to drive high-quality implementation.
  • Troubleshooting: Anticipate and resolve project challenges, working with internal and external teams to course correct.
  • Operational Reporting: Provide updates to Boehringer Ingelheim project teams and recommend resource adjustments when needed.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure projects support the Integrated Care System (ICS) strategy and communicate this vision to operational teams.


REQUIREMENTS


Skills & Experience:

  • Strong NHS and healthcare system knowledge
  • Proven project management and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and ABPI/IPHA codes
  • Comfortable interpreting data trends and making informed decisions

Education & Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education
  • ABPI (UK) qualified
