Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to BU Drives’ product quality and reliability development by managing test system development, ramp-up, and improvement projects. Each day, you will lead projects aligned with the BU Drives roadmap, ensuring effective resource allocation, scope control, and timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with reliability testing teams, product engineering, and external suppliers to ensure robust testing environments and continuous improvement.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power division in Estonia. Main stakeholders are Reliability Testing Team, Product Engineering, R&D Teams and Product Owners. In addtions you will closely cooperating with external squipment suppliers and contractors.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Managing new tester projects (e.g., ALT or ORT testers) using the Gate model, including specification, scheduling, risk management and cost control.
  • Executing improvement and development projects for existing testers and infrastructure within the Drives Reliability Center (DRC).
  • Reporting project progress to the Steering Committee and Sponsor through formal meetings.
  • Ensuring close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to support testing equipment usage and development.


Qualifications For The Role

  • You are highly skilled in project management methodologies and have experience leading technical development projects.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or power electronics, better in a testing or reliability environment.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of frequency converter hardware and testing systems.
  • You have a keen interest in problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Power Electronics.
  • You are at ease communicating in English; Estonian and Russian are beneficial.
  • You are proficient in PC tools and have an engaged working style with a focused mindset.
