Platform Engineer

When you join our team, you’ll be the engineer or architect behind the platforms that drive our clients’ success. You’ll design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tooling that streamline software development and deployment processes. Collaborating closely with development teams, you’ll foster a shared responsibility for delivering high-quality software.

Your Skills And Attributes Of Success

• Infrastructure Automation: Proficient with tools like Terraform or Ansible for automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform to build scalable and robust environments.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Skilled in Kubernetes and Docker for managing containerized applications and orchestrating workloads.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Experienced in setting up and fully maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring and Observability: Familiar with tools like Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or ELK Stack to monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Excellent spoken and written communication skills for working closely with developers to understand their requirements and challenges.
• Security and Compliance: Knowledgeable in incorporating security best practices, following industry standards and ensuring legal compliance.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills plus the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.

• Have experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Kubernetes Expert roles.
• Have cloud or Kubernetes certifications
• Have experience with serverless technologies
• Have contributed to open-source projects (show us your Github/Gitlab!)
