AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for AI Platform Engineers to help our clients build strong foundations for AI use in real business environments. You will work with cloud, data, and machine learning systems that support the reliable adoption of AI at scale.

What you’ll doIn this role, you are part of client teams designing and building modern AI and data platforms. Your work makes it possible to train, deploy, and operate AI systems in a trusted and efficient way.

You will:

• Build and maintain platform components that support AI workloads such as model training, inference, vector search, data preparation, and feature processing
• Design pipelines and workflows for data and model delivery, covering both batch and real-time cases
• Work with various data types and design models that serve analytics and machine learning needs
• Implement storage solutions like warehouses, lakes, and lakehouses with the right balance of security, cost, and performance
• Ensure reliability in data and model flows through testing, monitoring, and clear governance
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and platform teams to make sure models can run safely and at scale
• Support deployment, versioning, and monitoring of AI and ML models, including evaluation and rollout strategies
• Take part in shaping Polar Squad’s approach to AI platforms, tools, and ways of working
  
  

What we’re looking forMust-Haves

• Strong hands-on experience with Python or similar languages for platform and pipeline work
• Solid skills in SQL
• Experience with modern data or AI platforms such as Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or lakehouse setups
• Cloud experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with workflow tools such as Airflow, dbt, Prefect or Dagster
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design for analytics and ML
• Familiarity with deploying or supporting AI and ML workflows in production
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with real-time systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub Sub)
• Experience with feature stores, vector databases, or model registries
• Knowledge of observability, lineage, and quality tools
• Awareness of privacy, security, and compliance practices (for example, GDPR)
