Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with to design, build, and maintain a highly scalable and reliable cloud-based tools and software lifecycle for one of the world’s most advanced high-tech and semiconductor companies.

The ideal candidate should not only be technically proficient but also excel in stakeholder engagement and contribute meaningfully to design and architectural decisions.

Our client plays a critical role in the global semiconductor industry, developing high-precision machines used for advanced chip manufacturing. Their software environment supports thousands of engineers working on cutting-edge technologies, requiring state-of-the-art DevOps and automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• Automate workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments across multiple environments.
• Manage and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Manage GitLab platform and implement CI/CD best practices.
• Work with application teams to define configuration management in YAML/Helm.
• Support internal teams by delivering tailored cloud solutions that align with business needs.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure Cloud
• Strong background in Postgres, Git, and GitLab
• Proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD pipeline creation, and configuration management
• Programming experience in Java and/or Python
• Monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Mimir)
• Experience with JFrog, SonarQube, or HashiCorp Vault
• Familiarity with MongoDB
• Awareness of CNCF ecosystem and tooling landscape
