Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich.

This is a contracting role with the initial duration until 31.03.2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to data science and business intelligence projects, particularly in regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver effective analytical solutions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation.
• Evaluate and manage business change requests.
• Perform both regular and ad-hoc data analyses and reporting.
• Support the design, development, validation, and monitoring of compliance models and controls.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive banking experience, particularly in Compliance, Risk Management, or Legal functions.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Science, preferably in a project-based environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
• Strong database programming skills (e.g. SQL).
• Proficient in programming (e.g. Python).
• Fluency in English.
