Responsibilities
Our customer's team is responsible for the electronic control systems and functions throughout the entire product lifecycle. They focus not only on developing and securing functions and behavior at the complete vehicle and vessel level, but also on exploring how we can deliver innovative functions and features that create value for our customers.
We are currently looking for an experienced System Engineer with project leading skills to join us. We need your capacity to develop products and services within vehicle and vessel control, as well as automation solutions in the marine and industrial segments. You will contribute to both the evolution of our existing products and the design of next-generation solutions. At the core of this role is the ability to drive, lead, create, and implement robust and future-ready systems.
The Motion Control team works across several key areas including architecture, roadmaps, system and function development, function ownership, project leadership, verification & validation, and maintenance. Depending on your background and experience, your responsibilities may vary, but your work will cover some or more of these areas—ranging from conceptual development to hands-on testing in vehicles and vessels. If you hold an M.Sc. in a relevant field and bring experience in mechatronics and embedded software/system development/Verification&Validation/rig development and maintenance/specific systems (KOLA, SW Configurator, PEA2+,Vodia)—combined with a strong interest in vehicle and vessel dynamics—you could be the perfect match for this role.

Your ability to navigate complex technical environments and compile knowledge enables you to lead, deliver, and create real value.
You most likely have a genuine interest in the product domain. As a System Engineer you set requirements on both feature and functional level and align the technical solution with product planning and software developers. You also support/drive/lead smaller projects/deliveries where the main focus is within Motion Control domain.
A very important task for you as a System Engineer is to understand the logical functions and the needed interfaces within our own system but also to other systems. This means that you will be responsible for the complete development from specification to test and implementation of new functions and solutions.
You have experience from function and software development, verification, validation, writing test cases on both manual and automation level in System Weaver tool and user centric development. You are a positive and curious person that enjoys collaboration with many different colleagues to find the needed answers.
