Here's an opportunity to own a new function in a private equity backed SME based in South Wales who build complex SaaS that's used by some of the biggest companies you can think of.

You'll work as a lone wolf - not the kind that sits in the background with the lights off, though.

You'll be the main link between customers and operations. Gathering requirements to build new features, pushing back when things aren't right, and then getting to work.

Someone who can truly manage their own schedule and work independently will thrive here.

You'll be suited to this role if you think creatively, can understand different perspectives (operations, customers) and can communicate your ideas well.

Although it's a new function, their goal is to have this as a team of 3 by Q1 '26.

That means you'll need to be a strong, confident mid level engineer who wants to step up to senior and leadership imminently.

You'll focus on the back end development and build within .NET Core and some framework.
