DevOps Engineer
Cheshire (Hybrid 3 days in the office)
£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits
You’ll be working for a tech-focused organisation on a mission: using innovation to drive positive environmental change. Through data, automation, and cutting-edge digital solutions, we help organisations reduce their environmental impact and build a more sustainable future.
We're growing—and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who’s passionate about technology and making a real-world difference.
The Role
As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the AWS infrastructure that powers our platforms and products. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment pipelines, strengthen reliability, and ensure our cloud environments are scalable and secure.
This is a hybrid role—combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and connection of our Cheshire office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining infrastructure using AWS, including EC2, Lambda, VPCs, IAM, and more.
- Managing containerized applications with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform.
- Designing and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines to support rapid delivery.
- Monitoring, improving, and championing infrastructure performance and system reliability.
- Collaborating closely with developers to support a smooth path from code to production.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven commercial experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of scripting or coding (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Passion for best practices: automation, infrastructure-as-code, security, and reliability.
- A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
