Green Light are looking for a Junior Developers (C++/C#) to assist in the delivery of a large program of work. The role is responsible for the testing activities on large transformation project and ensuring that all assigned technology solutions are delivered to agreed quality standards and within the allocated timeframe. The Developers will have experience in C++ and/or C# and be willing to be trained to develop within a Mainframe environment.


This role does require an active AGSVA baseline clearance at a minimum. Consultants that are Australian Citizens and willing to obtain a baseline clearance will be considered.


You will be part of a team that designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work.

Responsibilities:

  • Write well documented, high performance, reliable, maintainable code in C/C++
  • Strong knowledge of software versions using Git
  • Conduct UAT
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Innovate processes to drive compliance, accountability, and security.
  • willingness to learn development within a Mainframe environment
  • Contribute to a safe workplace and comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a baseline clearance. Australian Citizen willing to progress through the clearance process.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience with relevant tertiary qualification
  • Ability to write well documented, high performance, reliable, maintainable code in C/C++
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC
  • Experience in working in a controlled development environment with strong version and configuration management control.
