Your new role
As the Product Manager – Healthcare Information Provider Service (HIPS), you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of a major interoperability platform. Reporting to the Director of Interoperability Products, you will work closely with stakeholders across government, healthcare providers, and software vendors to ensure the product meets the interoperability needs of the Australian healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing the product vision, strategy, and 3-year roadmap.
- Driving product adoption and engagement across healthcare organisations.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and influencing government agencies, clinical bodies, and vendors.
- Overseeing product releases, demos, and assurance processes.
- Providing timely reporting, resource planning, and financial management.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- Relevant skills and qualifications at the EL1 level.
- Strong knowledge of application development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering product strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
Desirable:
- Certification in Product Management.
- Experience in health and government projects.
- IT background with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience with Healthcare Information Provider Service (highly regarded)
