Product Manager

• Initial 12-month contract with the potential for 6-month extensions.

In this key role, you will lead product strategy and implementation for the Interoperability Products Platform, driving advancements that enhance the interoperability of healthcare information. Your work will help shape a healthcare system that is connected, accessible, and secure, ultimately improving health outcomes for Australians.

Your duties will include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance digital health adoption across Australia.
• Engaging in complex problem-solving to address interoperability challenges.
• Managing product development cycles, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Leading efforts to cultivate relationships with software vendors and other sector partners.
• Producing regular status reports and resource allocations to track project progress.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Strong stakeholder management capabilities and experience leading discussions with diverse partners.
• Deep understanding of applications development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in aligning business and product strategies within a governmental or healthcare context.
• Demonstrated experience in health or government projects.
• Certification in Product Management highly desirable.
