At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our UniQue team!

What will you be doing in this role?

Development of back-end website applications - writing clean and functional code
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
Implement core business logic
Build and manage databases, APIs, and server infrastructure to support application functionality
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
Cross-platform optimisation
Design responsive applications
Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
Taking the lead on projects, as needed
Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
Write technical documentation

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

A Bachelor degree and a minimum of 13 years of experience in IT (or a Master degree and at least 9 years experience)
Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring boot and Hibernate
Excellent knowledge of J2EE
Excellent knowledge of BPMN
Excellent knowledge of micro services architecture
Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB
Experienced with standards/APIs{{:}} XSD and SOAP, JSON, JSON Schema
Experienced with with, Docker, Python, Bash, Elasticsearch,, GIT and JIRA
Good knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
Good knowledge of applications design
Good knowledge of modelling tools
Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message-oriented middleware, serviceoriented bus)
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment
Good knowledge of agile methodology
A good level of the English language will be required
