Project Manager – Electronics & Imaging Systems

Location: Liege, Belgium

At the forefront of innovation in imaging and electronics, this company designs advanced hardware and software solutions for sectors including space vision, rail, and industrial applications. From developing imaging systems for space missions to high-performance electronics for broadcast and transport, their work is shaping technology both on and beyond our planet.

They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through delivery, working closely with internal teams and global clients.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of complex, technically demanding projects—coordinating engineering resources, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring smooth communication between teams and customers. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Planning and managing all project phases to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Coordinating material, labour, and technical resources across departments.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical and commercial risks in collaboration with engineering leads.
  • Leading and motivating project teams (typically 10–15 people), maintaining focus on delivery objectives.
  • Reporting progress clearly to management and customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Supporting presales activities with cost and schedule estimations.
  • Occasionally representing the company at international exhibitions and customer meetings.

About You

You’re an organised and proactive engineer who enjoys bringing structure to complex R&D programmes. You thrive in a collaborative, international environment and have the confidence to discuss technology with both customers and development teams.

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering.
  • Experience managing technical or electronics-based projects.
  • Strong understanding of project planning tools (Gantt charts; MS Project experience is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English and ideally also French or Dutch.
  • Strong communication and people-management skills, with a hands-on mindset.
  • Proficient with MS Office.

Why Join

You’ll work on cutting-edge projects spanning multiple industries, from space imaging to advanced electronic systems. The company prides itself on its people-centred culture—valuing collaboration, respect, and work–life balance. Team events, social gatherings, and family activities are a core part of life here, and you’ll find an environment that genuinely encourages professional growth and personal wellbeing.

If you’re passionate about technology and want to make a real impact in imaging and electronics, this is an opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team.Project Manager – Electronics & Imaging Systems
