Project Manager Voice

Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and others. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service products.

We are looking for a Project Manager Voice to join our Global IT Engineering team. In this role, you will drive and coordinate API-related initiatives for modern voice and AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs, architecture, and technical implementation across international teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Owner in refining the product vision and translating it into actionable technical initiatives for cloud-based APIs;
• Drive end-to-end delivery of API-related topics, ensuring alignment between business requirements, architecture, and implementation;
• Act as a key interface between engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to ensure technically sound and feasible solutions;
• Break down complex requirements into structured work items (user stories, technical tasks, acceptance criteria) with a strong technical perspective;
• Proactively identify technical risks, trade-offs, and constraints, and support decision-making together with architects and the Product Owner;
• Support and co-own backlog structuring and prioritization with a focus on technical feasibility, scalability, and maintainability;
• Monitor API performance, reliability, and usage metrics to drive optimization and stability;
• Ensure adherence to technical standards (e.g., REST, OpenAPI, OAuth, security policies) and best practices.

Profile:

• Strong understanding of API design and integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures);
• Solid experience in technical project management or coordination of software delivery in complex environment;
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and modern architectures (microservices, serverless);
• Ability to understand system architectures and discuss solutions on eye level with engineers and architects;
• Experience with API specification tools (e.g. OpenAPI/Swagger, ThunderClient);
• Structured and proactive working style with strong ownership for delivery topic;
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release processes;
• Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical stakeholders;
• Familiar with Voice and/or AI agents such as Amazon Alexa, Google Gemini.
