Cybersecurity Trainee

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cybersecurity Trainee to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in cybersecurity, learning from experts in a global environment and contributing to real-world security challenges.

As an Information Security Trainee, you will learn and provide support for the following tasks:

• Assist with and learn about key cybersecurity processes.
• Help gather data for the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for cybersecurity governance.
• Support the team in tracking security findings and ensuring remediation actions are monitored.
• Work closely with international teams to understand and help support application security requirements.
• Assist with documenting governance processes and security policies.
• Observe and participate in regular reviews and updates of security controls and standards.
• Provide assistance to the Information Security Officer (ISO) in compliance monitoring, risk management, and reporting efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help identify security risks.
• Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity trends and best practices to support your learning and development.

Education

A recent graduate or finishing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Languages

• English: Mandatory (fluent in written and spoken)
• German: Knowledge is desirable and a plus

Qualification

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• A strong, demonstrable passion for a career in cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of information technology and security concepts.
• A strong interest in learning about information security standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
• No prior professional experience required. We are looking for potential and a passion for learning.

Conditions of the internship:

• 12-month internship.
• 35 hours per week (important to be available for morning and afternoon hours from 8:00 to 16:00 during the 12 months)
• Flexible starting time
• Agreement and training provided by the company or agreement with current university
• 30 working days of holidays
