Business Analyst opportunity to work on digital transformation projects within a university

Join a prestigious Perth-based university, who are currently going through a period of exciting digital transformation to help improve their offering to their students and staff.

Your new role

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling IT transformation across the university's business applications. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, document business requirements, and guide the implementation of scalable and accessible systems aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for priority IT processes
  • Evaluate system capabilities and identify gaps to meet business needs
  • Develop project plans using established methodologies
  • Recommend process improvements and act as a central reference for system decisions
  • Lead UAT and testing to ensure quality and integrity of solutions
  • Create functional specifications for system developers
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and contribute to a safe and effective work environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in business analysis, systems design, and ERP implementation across HR, Finance, Procurement, and Payroll
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and change implementation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
