About the Role:
Job Title: React Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and business teams to design and deliver user-friendly banking interfaces.
- Develop secure, maintainable, and well-tested front-end code using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Build reusable UI components and scalable Single Page Applications aligned with enterprise design standards.
- Implement best practices for accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write and maintain automated tests (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library) to ensure platform stability.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with banking security policies, coding standards, and audit requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Support CI/CD deployments and collaborate with DevOps for secure cloud-native releases.
- Stay updated with modern UI frameworks, financial technology trends, and emerging front-end tools.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of front-end development experience in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Strong proficiency in React, React Hooks, TypeScript, ESNext, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with modern CSS techniques and responsive layouts.
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and asynchronous operations.
- Experience developing SPAs with a focus on performance and security.
- Strong testing experience (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to backend languages (Java or Python).
- Experience with AWS or cloud-native architecture; AWS certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and secure coding practices.
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80,260 – $95,420 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
