Our client is one of Sweden’s fastest-growing gaming technology companies, powering B2B platforms for online operators worldwide.
They are now entering a major growth phase and building a new team focused on anti-fraud, community services, and next-gen player experiences.
This is a chance to join a small, high-impact engineering group at a formative stage; shipping fast, owning big decisions, and shaping how new products are built.
The team optimises for quality, rapid iteration, and short feedback loops and has full end-to-end ownership, strong engineering autonomy, and a culture centred on experimentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
If you want to avoid process paralysis, influence core tech choices, and build things that matter, continue.
You will
- Own products end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy, and monitor in production.
- Work with large-scale, high-availability systems moving millions of events per minute.
- Move fast: build, iterate, release multiple times a day with automated deployment.
- Help shape team culture, engineering practices, and technical direction.
- Design and evolve system architecture with hands-on coding (we are not looking for PowerPoint Architecture).
- Mentor teammates and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business.
- Learn fast through experimentation; success, failure, and everything in between.
Team Culture
- Small, tight-knit team early in its journey
- Real ownership and autonomy
- Low process, zero meetings, so you can keep building
- A chance to shape culture, tooling, and ways of working
- A fast, sometimes messy, but always exciting environment with driven engineers
We need
- A broad generalist with experience setting up infrastructure and applications to handle enormous amounts of data
- Strong experience across multiple backend languages, ideally Go, TypeScript, Node.js
- Solid grounding in both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with serverless and self-managed cloud services
- Background with event or streaming tech (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis, Flink)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and deploying scalable systems in AWS
- Experience with high-throughput, high-transaction environments
- A hands-on builder who loves solving real problems, not an architect who stopped coding
If you are a senior engineer who thrives in autonomy, loves fast iteration, and wants to build new products from scratch with talented peers, this is the place to make a huge impact.
