Back End Developer

Please note: This is a permanent, Swedish-speaking role.

A Stockholm-based team building critical backend systems are looking for a Backend Engineer who wants real ownership, not just tasks.

If you like taking ideas all the way to production and being responsible for what you ship, you will fit right in.

You Will

• Build backend services and APIs from scratch and run them in production
• Work with event-driven patterns
• Shape and scale a distributed / microservices setup
• Work closely with product and business, not through layers
• Make decisions that directly impact performance, reliability, and scale

You Will Likely Enjoy This If You

• Have hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript in real-world systems
• Like owning things end-to-end, not just coding isolated pieces
• Are comfortable figuring things out without a lot of process
• Already use AI tools to move faster
• Care about building systems that hold up over time, not just “work for now”

Bonus Points

• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud infrastructure
• Worked in distributed systems or microservice environments before
