Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to the development of products, systems, services, and technologies for ABB’s Business Line Instrumentation. You will lead the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) or R&D projects, driving milestones, cost and quality targets, and delivering solutions that meet customer expectations.
Work model: Hybrid ()
This position plays a key role in shaping and advancing the product portfolio of ABB’s Business Line Instrumentation, with a particular focus on flowmeters across all global manufacturing sites. Your main stakeholders will include product management, R&D leadership, and factory management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing New Product Introduction projects, from market requirements to series production.
- Tracking progress to ensure milestones, cost targets, and quality standards are met.
- Proactively addressing obstacles and mitigating risks.
- Managing interdependencies between projects and coordinating global, cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring the team understands customer value and stakeholder expectations.
- Engaging stakeholders to define customer value and integrate feedback.
- Communicating project status, risks, issues, and opportunities clearly and transparently.
Qualifications For The Role
- You hold a degree in a technical field such as systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- You have successfully demonstrated your project management skills for at least three years in projects involving the development of technical products.
- You are fluent in both English and German and communicate confidently in both languages.
- You enjoy building and motivating cross-functional teams composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
- You are proficient in both traditional and agile project management methodologies and tools.
