Product Leader / Product Owner

12-Month Contract Up to €500/day

Dublin (Hybrid)

My client is a global leader in financial services. They're looking for an experienced Product Leader / Product Owner to drive strategy, delivery, and adoption of API-based capabilities.

If you have deep experience leading cross-functional teams to build scalable, reusable APIs at enterprise level, this is an opportunity to influence a platform used by millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product vision and roadmap for enterprise APIs within this team's Retirement Product area.
• Guide cross-functional agile teams (architects, analysts, developers) to design, build and maintain high-quality API products.
• Partner with internal and external consumers to identify opportunities and turn them into scalable capabilities.
• Ensure all API services are simple, stable, reliable, reusable, and aligned with the digital transformation strategy.
• Deliver capabilities that support millions of users across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in product development, product ownership, or digital platform leadership
• Strong track record delivering enterprise APIs and shared digital services
• Experience leading distributed cross-functional agile teams
• Proven ability to design, deliver, and scale API products used across large ecosystems
• Skilled at using data and insights for product decisions and roadmap prioritisation
• Experience deploying and supporting large-scale solutions impacting millions of customers
• Scrum/Agile experience; exposure to Design Thinking or Lean Start-Up a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
