Business Controlling Analyst (Manufacturing)

Purpose of the job: Global Manufacturing Engineering (60%), Local Operation Center (OC) Controller (40%)

Your tasks:

  • Manage the month end closing for an accurate financial reporting with accruals, booking corrections, etc. with a timely reporting of the overall results to OPS Controller & Global Quality Manager.
  • Cost Controlling on ME and Local OC incl. GL account allocations and approval process
  • Manage the improvement of the transparency of global and Local costs (actual, plan and budget)
  • Lead continuous improvement and support to ME and Local OC on process efficiency & reliability, financial guidance's, tools and application to secure value flow
  • Manage and improve operations reporting for ME and Local OC and enhance cost transparency through globally defined cost accounting
  • Lead the introduction of new standards and new requirements for the business to standardize processes to ensure stable value flow in ME and Local OC and enhance cost transparency through new globally defined cost accounting standards.
  • Regular reporting to Corporate Finance Operations
  • Interdepartmental communication to financial topics to all stakeholders, Cost Center, Business Unit Controllers, Corporate Controlling and local Controller.


Your profile:

  • University Degree in Finance related subject (Business Administration or Finance & Controlling)
  • 3-5 year in Controlling preferably in purchasing/operational environment.
  • SAP experience (Fl/CO, MM, SD)
  • Reliability, self-dependency, ability to communicate
  • Team player, open minded
  • SAP 'Key user' skills (Fl/CO, MM, SD)
  • German and English (very good), every other language a plus
  • Good knowledge with Excel, MS Office, SAP Bl
  • Planon tool experience is nice to have
