PHP Developer

Role - Fulltime on site in North Bristol

Web development resource to support the Aircat website, focused on modernisation or potential replacement. The role requires proficiency in web development, SQL databases, PHP and at least basic Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, fault-finding, and debugging for existing web applications.
• Contribute to the modernisation or potential redevelopment of a legacy web platform.
• Maintain and optimise SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Develop and enhance PHP-based web solutions.
• Document code, processes, and technical configurations.

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
• Proven track record of debugging and resolving technical issues in complex web applications.
• Experience working on-site within a collaborative development environment.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (non-negotiable).
• Solid experience with PHP development.
• Basic knowledge of Linux environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
