What You Will Do

• Work within a development team building high-performance detection and analytics services for Latin America
• Deploy and maintain services that provide real-time responses in under 200 milliseconds
• Collaborate closely with US-based teams during onboarding and implementation phases
• Build and deploy services connected to analytical databases for model inference
• Work with complex data pipelines for moving data for ML model training and inference
• Enable Data Scientists to perform their research and development
• Produce maintainable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions
• Demonstrate curiosity and energy to quickly get up to speed with implementations through hands-on learning
• Participate in peer design and code reviews
• Incorporate monitoring, logging, and tracing with tools such as DataDog and Snowflake
• Participate in team standups and retrospectives

What Experience You Need

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of strong software engineering experience with Golang (REQUIRED) - must have completed at least one end-to-end project in Go
• 3+ years building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC within a distributed microservice architecture
• 3+ years implementing AWS services (IAM, Lambda, EKS, Neptune, DynamoDB, RDS)
• Experience deploying services connected to analytical databases
• Experience with data pipelining and ETL processes
• In-depth experience with Docker
• 3+ years using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform and Helm
• Fluent English (must be able to collaborate effectively with US-based teams and undergo technical interviews in English)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-border team environment
• Curious mindset with energy to tackle challenges and learn quickly by doing.

What Could Set You Apart

• Python experience (highly desirable)
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts, probability, and statistics
• Experience with relational, graph, and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Spark/PySpark and Amazon EMR
• AWS Certification(s)
• Experience with metrics, monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g., DataDog)
• Experience with DevOps patterns and tools (GitLab, DataDog, Helm)
• Knowledge of OWASP, Cryptography, and PCI Data Security
