Job Description

The Finance Tribe’s mission is to ensure Danske Bank reaches its full financial potential, thereby benefiting customers, colleagues, society, and investors by building a financially solid institution. We ensure this is accomplished by efficiently managing Danske Bank’s finances.

We have various initiatives aimed at delivering our goals, which include providing quick and accurate financial information to investors, regulators, and internal decision-makers, as well as optimising the management of financial resources.

You will be working on implementing Capital Frameworks system. Our team is cross-functional, and you will collaborate closely with IT architects, BI engineers, DevOps specialists, IT systems, and business analysts to deliver modern solutions using advanced technologies, while processing vast amounts of data stored on the public cloud. The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:

  • Develop, optimise, and support both new and existing systems and applications for Capital Frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with IT architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams across the bank
  • Pursue continuous learning and drive improvement for yourself and your team
  • Challenge and enhance existing processes and methodologies.
  • Work with custom solutions developed in Python
  • Design, build, and maintain Cloud-Native services with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on AWS (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Aurora, ECS, EC2, etc.)
  • Leverage tools such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting solutions

About you:

  • Practical experience with public cloud computing (AWS would be beneficial)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools, ideally with GitHub Actions and YAML
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with containerised applications and Docker
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and application observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Python is beneficial
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, with PowerShell or Bash being particularly beneficial
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3520 EUR to 5280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
