Lexagri Spain, part of the international FoodChain ID group, is looking for an Agricultural Data Specialist to join our global team. Lexagri is a world leader in the structuring, harmonization, and validation of agricultural and regulatory data, working with plant protection products, MRLs, seeds, and market data.
Position Summary:
The selected candidate will mainly work on the Homologa project, supporting the collection, structuring, and publication of agricultural regulatory data. In addition, they will collaborate on occasional tasks with the Agrowin team (agricultural market database) and French services (safety data sheets, PPP data harmonization).
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain agricultural data from national and international sources
- Support the integration of new data sources (authorities, private entities, etc.)
- Collaborate on data harmonization and quality tasks with the Homologa team
- Contribute to occasional Agrowin-related tasks: market data analysis, basic BI support
- Collaborate with French services on regulatory documentation tasks (SDS, PPP, etc.)
- Work with the IT team to improve internal processes and database efficiency
- Participate in onboarding processes in Archamps (France) for 1 to 3 months, depending on need
- Degree or master’s in agronomy, biotechnology, environment, or another related science
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access)
- Work experience with databases and structuring complex datasets
- High level of English. Intermediate level of French is a strong plus
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Permanent full-time contract
- 100% remote work from Galicia (with occasional travel to France)
