Guidewire Developer

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale, complex Guidewire implementation program.

In this role you will:

• Develop, configure, and integrate Guidewire features
• Collaborate with teams and clients to define and deliver business requirements
• Support system integrations and performance optimization
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to CI/CD setup, automated testing, and best practices
  
  

The location of this role is Espoo, but we operate in a flexible hybrid model. Our diverse teams decide for themselves which flexible working practices suit them best.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven experience in Guidewire development, including configuration and integration
  
  

Proficiency in Gosu programming language and Guidewire development framework, experience with Java

• Over 2 years of experience with SW development tools like: Gunit, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Jira, Confluence, Postman, Splunk, SoapUI, Swagger
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, international environment and directly with clients.
• Over 2 years of experience with Insurance business
• Guidewire certificate
