You will shape the backbone of our data platform, designing systems that handle high-volume data streams and enable advanced analytics. What The Role Offers

• Enthusiastic and supportive team from various backgrounds locally in Tampere and globally in USA, Canada, and India.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data infrastructure for ingesting, storing, and processing large volumes of supply chain data.
• Design and maintain data models that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time decision-making.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and product managers to integrate features and AI/ML models into production.
• Define and enforce data governance, quality, and lifecycle management practices.
• Optimize workflows for performance and reliability, contribute to architectural best practices.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Curiosity and a forward-looking mindset to build great software products.
• Several years of experience in software engineering with a preferred focus on data architecture.
• Expertise in databases (SQL/NoSQL) data platform technologies (for example Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and distributed systems.
• Programming skills in Golang, Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP).
• Familiarity with ML workflows and MLOps practices.
• Experience in AI-assisted development is a big plus

• Practical experience of data warehousing, data lakes, and emerging lakehouse technologies.
• Exposure to real-time analytics and event-driven architectures.
