YOUR ROLE
- Working with the Developers, QA, Architect and other Reliability Engineering teams to identify and ensure all components match high-availability scenarios and to uphold excellent standards of quality.
- Creating, monitoring, alarmistic and reporting to ensure all our live products are kept at their highest availability.
- Developing fast analysis skills and methods to quickly debug and mitigate incidents.
- Working with Security, Problem and Incident teams by identifying risks and supporting incident resolution to a closure and prevent repetition.
- Automate everything.
- Knowledge of high availability scenarios.
- Knowledge of CI tools and CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
- Good programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, Bash, Go, etc).
- Knowledge of AWS stack (EC2, RDS, S3, etc).
- Experience with an infra-as-code approach by using Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with CDNs (Akamai, Cloudflare).
- Good communication and people skills, in a technical or non-technical context.
- Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes.
