Job Description:

Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Solution Architect to support the design and implementation of scalable cloud-based systems within their growing technology delivery function.

Job Responsibilities

• Define robust cloud and hybrid solution architectures aligned with AWS IaaS and PaaS capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business requirements and develop cloud migration strategies.
• Provide architectural oversight to Agile delivery teams, ensuring design quality and implementation consistency.
• Lead technical initiatives across multiple industries, leveraging modern cloud-based tools.
• Integrate AI/ML and automation into enterprise solutions to enhance business capabilities.
• Contribute to architectural governance, tool evaluation, and strategic decision-making.
• Embed DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline alignment within solution design.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to support scalable cloud deployments.
• Assist with FinOps adoption for cloud cost control and operational governance.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a cloud architecture role, preferably within enterprise environments.
• Strong technical foundation in AWS services, with relevant certifications or the willingness to obtain them.
• Prior development experience in Java or .NET environments.
• Proven success in delivering complex cloud-based architecture in multi-vendor settings.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement and solution advocacy.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud platforms.
• Understanding of application integration and infrastructure landscape design.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and tools, including Terraform or other IaC solutions.
• Experience implementing FinOps principles in a commercial cloud setting.
• Technical planning and budgeting experience, particularly in pre-sales or bid support.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
