My client is an established neuroscience start up in New York and just raised over $200m in Series D funding. They are seeking a full-stack iOS software developer to join the team to build the software infrastructure that translates neural activity into actionable real-world outcomes. We need someone who is resourceful, a quick learner, and excited about building and shipping impactful technology for patients.
Outline:
- 2+ years of experience in full- stack iOS software development, with emphasis on Python backend and Swift frontend.
- Experience with real- time information processing systems
- Experience designing and owning system architecture, not just completing tickets.
- Hands- on experience with scientific computing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and ML frameworks (scikit- learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with time- series data.
- Exceptional problem- solving ability, demonstrated through clarity of thought and communication.
- Experience at high- delivery engineering companies
Must be local to New York or willing to relocate and work on- site daily.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain user-facing software for high-precision, real-time data processing.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and third-party vendors for machine learning experimentation.
- Build custom analysis libraries for data science and machine learning workflows.
- Collaborate with various teams (Neuroscience, Software, Systems, Clinical) to productize research technologies.
- Provide support for developers integrating research tools into broader systems
