A leading organisation in the digital technology space is seeking an AWS Developer to join its engineering team. This hybrid role (2–3 days onsite in Dublin) offers the opportunity to build impactful, cloud-native applications at scale using modern technologies.
About the Role
You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment to design and deliver secure, scalable full-stack solutions. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership, and is eager to grow within a fast-moving engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Contribute to system design in serverless AWS environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Support enhancements to CI/CD pipelines and development processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus.
- Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and microservices.
- Experience with messaging systems (SQS, SNS) and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and monitoring tools.
- Comfortable working in agile environments.
