Project Management Officer

An opportunity to join the leading investment bank as aProject Management Officer. You'll be assigned to projects of various sizes, encompassing single or multiple work streams, with country or global reach, and ranging from narrow to broad scope. The primary responsibility of PMO roles is to assist the Programme Management Office in conducting project monitoring, governance, and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial performance of the project portfolio.
• Track and manage risks and issues.
• Coordinate regular project and program-level reporting.
• Collect, collate, and process project information from stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of project standards across projects.
• Update and manage project documentation, process documents, and information sources.
• Organize project and program-level governance meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a project management-related capacity.
• Proficiency in understanding the fundamental principles of Portfolio Financial Management.
• Knowledgeable about various project management methodologies and best practices, including agile approaches.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Capable of organizing and structuring projects, processes, and communications efficiently.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Confluence, Teams, and Jira.
• Comfortable working in a virtual team setting across different geographic regions and cultures.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrates initiative, independence, and readiness to handle a diverse range of tasks.
• Experience supporting essential Project Management Office functions: Planning and Plan Management, Tracking and Reporting, Risk and Issues Management, Project/Program Governance.
• A Bachelor's degree would be advantageous.
• Strong focus on detail orientation.
• Previous exposure to fast-paced work environments would be advantageous.
