Our client, a visual discovery and inspiration technology company that operates as a social media and digital advertising platform, is looking for an experienced Trust and Safety Data Analyst to join their team for a 6 month contract, due to growing business needs.
Duties:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to work with our client in Trust and Safety related data and build our analytics capabilities to make the company a safer platform. The analyst will be involved with defining and maintaining organizational metrics, providing regular reporting, and translating data into business insights.
What you'll do:
- Create dashboards that tie to company and team goals.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses, analyze our metrics, and translate findings into insights across all areas of the Trust and Safety organization.
- Design effective measurement systems, research what-if questions, and iterate on programs based on findings. - Work with the product, data science, and data engineering teams to optimize data capture and regular reporting design.
- Increase the team's proficiency in data visualization and storytelling with data.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets.
- Background in economics, statistics, industrial organizational psychology, or a similar field.
- Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and large groups on tight deadlines.
- Passion for building things and making data and analytics accessible and easy to use for non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in SQL, Excel, R, and/or other statistical and data visualization software.
- Bonus Points: Previous experience with a Trust & Safety Analytics team.

- Exposure to Python and statistical analysis
Preference will be given to candidates with exposure working in tech companies previously.
