Data Analyst

Strong SQL Skills Required

The Data Analyst will report to the Director Data Intelligence and will use internal and external data to provide actionable insights. This individual will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, software developers and SME’s within the business to ensure the delivery of accurate analytics and reporting.

The Data Analyst will derive understanding and insights via detailed analytics that will lead to increased operational efficiency and effectiveness by enabling proactive data-driven decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dissect and solve fleet related business problems using analytical and quantitative approaches to identify patterns and correlations in large, complex datasets.
• You will provide data backed solutions to questions such as the below:
• What is the optimal length of time to hold a vehicle?
• How can we reduce vehicle out of service time?
• What is the driving factor behind increased vehicle damage rates?
• Provide actionable insight to decision-makers to influence strategy and performance.
• Integrate and curate data from a wide range of internal and external sources to develop detailed reports.
• Use data visualization tools to explain your results simply and succinctly to technical, non-technical, and senior audiences.

Required Education

A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in a data analyst role.
• Minimum of 2 years hands on experience with Databricks (or equivalent).
• Strong capabilities in SQL and experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with a proven record for identifying and diagnosing problems, and solving complex problems with simple, logical solutions.
• Strong experience with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including
• [Nice to Have] Python scripting skills.
