We are looking for a CTO to join a modern AI scale-up in Oslo
We build AI-native enterprise applications that combine real-world data structures with orchestrated workflows to help knowledge-work teams work smarter, faster and with better precision.
Our platform aims to help organisations:
- Retain Knowledge - Capture and re-use the organisation's collective knowledge to reduce risk when people leave, and increase overall efficiency.
- Automate Everything - Automate anything from simple to complex processes end-to-end with a few real-world inputs combined with your collective knowledge.
- Deliver More - Redefine what modern customer relationships mean by delivering your value faster, better and more intuitively than before.
- Stay ahead - Analysing collective knowledge to identify best practices and innovations
As CTO, you will:
- Define and drive technology strategy in alignment with our product roadmap and business goals
- Lead the engineering, architecture, dev-ops, data science/ML and product-technology teams
- Ensure our platform remains scalable, secure, high-performing and architecturally forward-looking
- Foster a culture of innovation, quality, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Work closely with leadership (CEO, CPO, COO) to prioritise initiatives, manage technical risks and ensure on-time delivery
- Oversee technical due diligence, vendor/partner integration, infrastructure decisions and technology hiring
- Represent the technology vision externally (investors, customers, partners) and be a key voice in how our tech differentiates in the market
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles, including as CTO, Head of Engineering or similar in a fast-growing SaaS/enterprise business
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, AI/ML solutions, data platforms, workflow/orchestration systems
- Proven track record of building and scaling complex software products from early stage to enterprise-scale
- Strong leadership and people-management skills: hiring, mentoring, structuring teams, defining KPIs
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Hands-on enough to challenge architecture, make key technology decisions, and escalate when needed
- Familiarity with AI-native enterprise applications combining data, workflow and UX
- Prior experience working with international teams, distributed engineering and global customers
- Understanding of how to build secure and compliant systems in regulated environments
Why Join?
- You’ll lead the technology function at a company building something genuinely differentiated.
- Real ownership: Your decisions will shape the architecture, the team culture and the future of our product.
- Growth opportunity: We’re scaling — you’ll grow with us and build our tech organisation.
- Impact: Help knowledge-work teams deliver more, automate better and work smarter — in a way that changes how work gets done.
- Collaborative environment: We believe in flattening hierarchies, valuing ideas from every team member and providing a “workday designed around outcomes, not obstacles”.
