The Research & Data Analyst team is a key function within Warner Music Mexico, driving data-driven analysis initiatives across all our business areas. This role focuses on anchoring and applying data expertise for strategic decision-making for business teams.

Your Role

As a Data Analyst at Warner Music Mexico, you will be the engine for transforming volumes of data into actionable insights that drive our business strategy and decision-making process.

You will be an expert in the use and maintenance of our reporting tools, constantly improving our systems and processes. You will think outside the box, with a spirit of innovation that will lead you to learn new techniques, actively contributing to the development of the team's tools, skills, and data culture.

Here You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Leverage data insights, applying and presenting learnings in a way that can be understood and applied by all levels of the organization.
  • Collect and translate data from various databases and resources into actionable insights to help drive business strategy and the decision-making process.
  • Create and deliver data presentations that are simple and easy to understand, ensuring the inclusion of analysis and insights from a data perspective to achieve departmental goals.
  • Perform routine reporting for company-wide consumption and fulfill ongoing and ad-hoc reporting requirements and opportunities.
  • Act as a storyteller, communicating and proposing recommendations to achieve specific strategic objectives at the request of various departments.
  • Be a resident expert on the latest tools and knowledge in the music world, including streaming, marketing, research, analytics, and other music-related technological tools.
  • Be an active member of the global analyst community, sharing learnings and data support with other Warner analysts worldwide.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's tools, skills, culture, and impact.

About You

  • You have +2 years of experience as a data analyst.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake), Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python.
  • You have advanced proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Organization and detail-orientation, ensuring that all information you communicate is accurate and that your technical deliverables are clean and documented.
  • You enjoy clear and effective communication (verbal and written), with strong interpersonal, visual, and creative writing skills.
  • You have advanced English and Spanish.
