JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING:

Design and implement BI solutions to make data accessible to key business stakeholders.

Reporting to: Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead the development and deployment of business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Design user-friendly, visually appealing, and data-compliant solutions for performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Commerce stakeholders to implement BI solutions.
• Ensure solutions are tested and fit for purpose from functional, technical, and user perspectives.
• Work with the Technology solutions team and Data Manager to create sustainable BI solutions.
• Support the BI Architect and Power BI Specialist in setting standards for Data Architecture, Data Governance, Business Ownership, Definitions, and Data Quality.
• Assist with data integration and quality uploads.
• Provide technical training and capability building for the Data Ambassadors Community.
• Define opportunities and strategy for future BI reporting capabilities.
• Connect with peers globally to drive continuous improvement and learning.
• Support the BIA team with ad hoc reporting requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL

• Relevant degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Power BI development, including gateway operations and data visualization.
• Proven ability to identify business needs and develop valuable solutions.
• Strong background in descriptive analytics and data warehousing.
• Understanding of Data Mining, Data Modelling, Big Data analytics, and related tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of SQL queries and Azure Cloud technology is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in an agile environment.
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
• Strong learning agility and adaptability to new analytics technologies and methodologies.
• Strong cultural fit based on company behaviours.
