The Role

As a Software Engineer (AI & Backend) on their product team, you will:

• Continuously improve the platform and identify new opportunities for innovation.
• Take ownership of the entire feature development lifecycle—from concept to release.
• Participate in design discussions and collaborative workshops.
• Work closely with other teams to deliver complex, high-impact features.
• Deploy solutions that reach millions of users globally.
• Optionally engage with customers to understand their needs.

What They’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in backend development and machine learning (or equivalent demonstrable skills).
• Strong understanding of AI/ML principles and practical applications.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proficiency in Python and Django; exposure to Node.js or Elixir is a plus.
• Commitment to writing clean, testable, and reusable code.
• Awareness of scalability and performance optimization.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Knowledge of vector databases and information retrieval techniques.
• Hands-on work with ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices.
• Theoretical grounding in AI/ML concepts.
