Job Title: Sr. Android Developer

Location: San Antonio, TX (Day one onsite with 5 days’ work from office)

Duration: Full-time role


Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Android Developer with strong experience in Kotlin to build high-quality, scalable, and innovative Android applications. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain Android apps that deliver outstanding user experiences.


Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications with backend services.
  • Unit test code to ensure robustness including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
  • Debug and fix issues, optimize performance, and improve application robustness.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android development technologies and trends.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Integrate third-party libraries and APIs as appropriate.
  • Ensure app compatibility and responsiveness across a wide range of Android devices and versions.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin programming language and familiarity with Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and responsive layouts.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of memory management, threading, and performance tuning on Android.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
