Morgan McKinley is partnering with a major global technology company to hire a Cyber Security Analyst who will help strengthen abuse-fighting, harm-mitigation, and operational defense capabilities across a high-impact security organization.


In this role, you’ll work on tactical project components, deliver data-driven insights, and support initiatives that improve systems, processes, and decision-making. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to provide insights that inform strategy while deepening your understanding of business priorities and analytical methods.


This position also partners closely with a specialized threat defense team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyberattacks for global customers - leveraging threat intelligence to deliver meaningful security outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic and operational analyses to identify optimization opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Drive low- to moderate-complexity abuse and harm-mitigation projects, contributing to ongoing system and process enhancements.
  • Execute data-oriented analysis to build metrics, identify trends, synthesize insights, and support decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, communicate risks early, follow structured work plans, and meet deadlines.
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders by running analyses and identifying tactical solutions to defined problems.
  • Perform employee-feedback analysis, operational monitoring, and error resolution to reduce inaccuracies and improve process efficiency.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures, scripts, and scalable solutions with guidance.


Minimum Qualifications


Top Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with EDR tools (e.g., HX, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike)
  • Proficiency with NDR tools (e.g., NX, Corelight, Palo Alto NGFW)
  • Strong log-analysis skills for investigating and scoping security incidents
