Our client is a well-established building services engineering contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, and technology projects in Dublin. Known for their hands-on approach, strong technical capability, and consistent project delivery, they continue to expand their portfolio of commercial clients. They are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of project delivery within their growing Dublin team.

About Your New Role

You will oversee the full life cycle of electrical installation works on commercial building projects—from early design coordination and procurement through on-site delivery, commissioning, and final client handover. You’ll work closely with project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical installation projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor packages
  • Oversee on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and technical compliance
  • Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues
  • Review drawings, technical submittals, and method statements
  • Prepare project reports, risk assessments, and associated documentation
  • Support commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems in commercial buildings

What You Need:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in an electrical project management or senior site role
  • Proven experience delivering commercial, office, or mixed-use building services projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution, life-safety systems, containment, lighting, and general building services installations
  • Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and delivery-focused approach in fast-moving project environments

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Long-term career progression within an established and expanding contractor
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects in Dublin
  • Supportive team environment with strong technical expertise
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
