IT Business Analyst – Non-Life Insurance (FR/ENG)

Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for an IT Business Analyst – Non-Life Insurance (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Identify and document operational needs expressed by business units.
• Provide input to support decision-making and prioritization.
• Suggest and design suitable solutions, assessing feasibility, benefits, risks, and estimated effort.
• Draft and validate functional and technical requirements for projects and system enhancements.
• Support project estimation and define delivery phases, including feature prioritization.
• Develop testing strategies, prepare test scenarios, monitor execution, and report outcomes.
• Coordinate with business and operations teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans based on evolving needs.
• Train end users on new systems and workflows, and provide continuous support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to implemented systems.
• Ensure smooth and consistent communication among internal teams and external partners.

Your profile

• Master’s degree or engineering diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the P&C insurance sector.
• In-depth understanding of P&C and Health insurance operations, including policy and claims management, and digital processes.
• Proficient in SQL; working knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience in software development projects in an analyst or functional expert role.
• Skilled in modelling techniques and analytical tools.
• Project management certification (PMP, CSM) is a plus.
• Self-driven, adaptable, well-organized, and detail oriented.
• Fluent in both French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is an asset.
