Full Stack Developer (PHP/React)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on PHP (Laravel), SQL and TypeScript/React. In this role, you will work at the intersection of backend and frontend engineering, contributing to the design, development and enhancement of core features for a high-traffic web application within a fast-growing product company.

This is a hands-on technical position where ownership, code quality and a solid engineering mindset are essential.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance new functionalities for the company’s core web application.
• Implement clean, maintainable and scalable backend logic using PHP/Laravel.
• Develop responsive, component-driven interfaces with TypeScript and React.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to refine requirements and translate them into well-structured technical solutions.
• Coordinate with other engineers to ensure high-quality implementations, provide documentation and maintain consistent coding standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and general engineering best practices.
• Support integration topics, internal APIs and data workflows across the platform.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise with PHP and Laravel, including API development and architectural best practices.
• Solid hands-on experience with TypeScript and React for modern frontend development.
• Deep understanding of SQL, relational databases and performance optimisation.
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations or internal tooling is a strong plus.
• Clean, structured coding style with a focus on maintainability, testing and long-term stability.
• Ability to work end-to-end: requirement understanding, technical design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Fluency in German.
