Mandatory Skills – IT & Cyber Permanent Control Officer (Data Department)

Core Competencies

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), including ability to present to management.

Risk & Control Expertise

• Experience with Operational Risk Management (RCSA, controls, incidents, action plans).
• Knowledge of Compliance principles (banking compliance, IT controls, regulatory expectations).
• Understanding of Process Management (process mapping, control evaluation).
• Ability to execute or supervise permanent controls within IT/Data domains.

Technical & Domain Knowledge

• Knowledge of IT & Cybersecurity control frameworks (or ability to learn quickly).
• Understanding of Data-related processes (data governance, data quality, data lifecycle) – at least interest in Data domain.

Tools & Reporting

• Ability to work with risk management or GRC tools.
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
