Job Summary

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to support our team in Qatar. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business users, product owners, and stakeholders to understand the current airline/airways processes and gather detailed requirements.
  • Analyze business needs, identify gaps, and propose process improvements or system enhancements.
  • Prepare, draft, and review BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and walkthrough sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements with precision.
  • Onboard and brief the development team on requirements to ensure accurate implementation with no gaps.
  • Collaborate with QA and business teams to prepare use cases, test scenarios, and UAT test cases.
  • Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure requirements are met.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
  • Perform impact analysis for change requests and ensure smooth change management.
  • Maintain updated documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Domain Skills

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the Airways/Airline domain (e.g., reservations, operations, cargo, loyalty, departure control, revenue management).
  • Good analytical and process mapping skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to create user stories, process flows, use case diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard BA tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, etc.).
